Thanks to COVID there is sadly no RIAT this year, and like many others I sorely miss the event. This year was to be the RIAT 50th Anniversary and the organisers have been robbed of celebrating such a milestone. Likewise, every volunteer has lost the opportunity to join in with the celebrations.

However, the occasion was still marked, and on the date of the anniversary a small COVID-compliant gathering was held at North Weald. The gathering involved a celebratory photoshoot and a cake cutting ceremony that I was lucky enough to attend on behalf of UK Airshow Review.
