Things may have been a bit quiet around here for a few months now. However back in May I attended the Shuttleworth Season Premiere which I reviewed for UKAR, a link to the article can be found here.

Since then, I have been extremely busy helping out as a volunteer at the Royal International Air Tattoo.

This year I spent a significant part of my spare time producing most of their online aircraft related content including the “Aircraft in the Spotlight” pages plus drafting their weekly social media aircraft updates and the static information boards for the show. I was also due to attend the show as usual as a volunteer only to be struck down with COVID on the first day. Typical really.

I am now better and today was a special occasion for my village, the Baton Relay for the 2022 Commonwealth Games came to visit – and of course my camera was ready to take a few shots as it passed by.
